I think Hurt Locker is going to win best picture this year.

Every category
For Best Picture, I want "Away We Go" to win. Sam Mendes directed it; he never leaves the Oscars Ceremony without an Oscar. It is one of the best films I’ve ever seen.
For Best Actress, ?? (I wish someone from "The Lovely Bones" would get nominated!)
For Best Actor, def. Morgan Freeman for "Invictus" or some guy from "Inglorious Bastards."
What about you guys?
Away We Go won’t get a nomination, let alone a win. It wasn’t even nominated for a golden globe, in fact I looked up the imdb page and it’s been nominated for 2 whole awards since it came out in June, one of which was a Teen Choice Award. Also, it’s funny you say Sam Mendes never leaves the ceremony without an oscar, he’s only been nominated (and won that one) for American Beauty as a director. So his total oscars are-1. Revolutionary Road was nominated for quite a few, but not best director and it was1000x better than Away We Go. Do you even watch the oscars?

i really need to know (well my mom does)
2/22 – that makes it easy to remember
I have a 120 gallon tank that has a 6" Pleco and 2 Baby oscars, around 1 and a half inches each. I would like to add one or two things while they are small so that they can grow together. What would be suitable? Thanks in advance.
Firstly active fish, these include Rosy Barbs, Tiger Barbs and not much else, as not much will withstand the fury of an oscar, as a matter of fact, i wouldnt even recommend the Barbs, they cant hold their own and will get destroyed. A better choice is cichlids, Jack Dempseys, Green Terrors, Severum, Firemouth, Convicts, BUT whatever you do, do not add Red Devils, Midas or Jaguars, they are far too aggressive and will belt the living daylights out of your poor Oscars. The best time to add is at the juvenile stage, they get along better that way. I love oscars, its just a shame they are so much work.
he will go down as Ennis and The Joker
but is it just me or was his turn as Ennis more "real"
i mean he truly displayed a human being in that film, holding in his words, feeling, and ultimately his heart
the joker was great, amazing, and surprisingly addicting. but i can’t help to think if he wins for the joker, why didnt the academy give him the award for his role in BBM?
idk if it is just me?!
and im tired, its late, but goddamn i love movies, and i think Heath is a good actor, he deserved the Oscar in 2005, moreso than he does now in 08 for the joker role
Heath was a great actor and there’s no doubt that if his life didn’t tragically end when he was so young, he would’ve defintely won an Oscar or two. That being said, in the year 2005 Brokeback Mountain was critically acclaimed, as was Heath’s performance. But Brokeback Mountain was upset by Crash for Best Picture, which is easily one of the biggest upsets in recent Oscar history (along with Shakespeare in Love beating out Saving Private Ryan). That just showed how The Academy didn’t embrace the film as much as the critics did.
But should Heath have won for Best Actor that year? Maybe. The category wasn’t a very strong one, but from all the precursors it was a lock that Philip Seymour Hoffman was going to win for his masterful performance as Truman Capote. I would like to think that Heath Ledger was second in votes only to him, but we’ll never find out.
Now for the most recent role from Heath as The Joker in The Dark Knight. There’s no doubt his performance was stunning and chilling to the bone. Definitely one of the best (if not THE best) performances of the entire year so far… but it’s only September and the real Oscar-worthy films haven’t even been released yet. Does Heath have a shot at winning an Oscar? Certainly… but he has to get nominated first and there’s a loooong time until that happens. If he manages to become one of the five nominees for Best Supporting Actor, then we can have some serious discussions about his chances of winning.
But say he does win for Best Supporting Actor in The Dark Knight. Does that really mean that performance was better than his Ennis in Brokeback Mountain? That’s simply your opinion, as is everything that relies on "best"s. In my opinion, Heath’s Joker will go down in history and will be remembered for years while his Ennis was great, yet forgettable.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest
Inside Man…
Scorsese will win his long awaited Oscar for the Departed and De Caprio will at least be nominated!! Sacha Baron Cohen will win best actor for Borat (hmmmm, probably not)!! Possibly Clive Owen for Children of Men!! Need to watch more films to know more!!
sorry its none of the three, its actually on Sky Movies
